The top pic is what I get when I try to upload something, only one button is skinned.

 The bottom pic is when I download something and is the way it should look. Both use the same images

but I don't know why it happens.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this ?

I'm using XP and the blind is XP with Vista parts added for useablity on Vista, no substyle.

Odd thing, it happens on all windowblinds.

 

 

I spend alot of time browsing members personal galleries and have noticed that their comments section has correctly dated comments in order. :) 

When viewing my comments on my personal page, they are all out of order. :p 

Also, If I wanted to delete any comments off my personal page, this option acts as though it is working but never follows through on the actual delete of the comment. :NOTSURE: 

just as a note, yes I have cleared the cookies.

Will this ever be fixed? (:( 

I have submitted Maja Pearl.wba to the gallery 4 times in the span of a week.

Each time I see it in moderation on my skins page.

Each time, the following day I will check it and it is gone (not in moderation on my skins page and not in my gallery).

Each time, I check my email but there is no notification of it.

I submitted a logon and a wall after the 4th upload of wba and the logon was approved,

the wall still in mod,

and the wba awol again

where oh where could Maja Pearl be ?

Hello to all that love Xion. I am creating my first skin and have about 75% of the buttons all done but wanted to check my work in progress. My first question is about loading the skin. How I did it, and I'm not sure if this was the right way - copied the .psd file and used windows explorer to paste it in the Interfaces directory. There must be a better way but it's not in the tut I have.

The second issue is, and could possibly be related to the first, when I loaded my skin, the whole skin was about 50% transparent and hard to see although the buttons work like a charm.  
I am using photoshop, could someone please point me in the right direction

You've probably heard that title a thousand times but I have been having some trouble with a couple of icons I've been trying to upload. Thanks to snowman, I found out what I was doing wrong the first time but after I fixed the problem I uploaded 2 seperate icons to misc.icons and then received the (your work has been accepted please allow 5 days bit). I went to my gallery and there they were just as normal, then I uploaded the same 2 icons but in .png format to objectdock section and went to my gallery and there they were but the 2 I uploaded for misc.icons section were gone. Each time I upload something, I go to my skins and check to see that they are in moderation but this time the only ones in moderation are the objectdock png's. I know that posting the same looking icons in 2 diferent places is redundant but what I would like to know is what happened to them. Another thing that I have been experiencing in my gallery with these 2 icons are that the old screenshot was still showing even after being deleted and uploaded new shot. So if you get multiple uploads of the same thing, its because, to me it looks like you didn't get the right thing. And Another thing, I have uploaded 3 different avatars, the next day I check, there gone, I upload again, I check later, they are gone again. I haven't received any email about these being accepted or rejected and both times they were in my gallery and my skins in moderation, now gone again.  I posted this to Stardock support, how it ended up here ? who knows

I noticed from reading alot of forums that alot of members here use imageshack. I have been using photobucket and was wondering if anyone knows what key feature differences there are between the two besides being free ?

Have you ever done a google search on your author name ? I did today and was quite amazed to find that there was 1810 page results on the author name I use. Most of them were in German which also happens to be my ancestoral history. If you haven't tried it, you might find it interesting to see.

Thought that title might grab a few of you   Just looking for some info on a few things that I have been digging through WC for and don't know exactly where to look to find it. I'm sure any replies will also help other users as well (if they find this post). I'll try to keep my questions numbered so you can refer to which question your answering. If you know where I should be looking, please point me to that direction but direct answers would be very appreciated, that is why I'm asking the community after all. I'm using a Gateway laptop, widescreen 1280x800 res. Windows XP SP2. My imaging software is Photoshop. (#1)-How do you create links to stuff here at WC? (#2)-Do I have to make my own links from wallpapers or logons to other things that match. (#3)-Referals & Points, what are points used for? (#4)-I know how to take screenshots but it doesn't work on a bootscreen, what do I need to do to get a screenshot of the bootscreen in progress. Love to hear from all. This place ROCKS   

Logon Studio is a very nice program for anyone wishing to make and or use logon screens. It is a very safe way for beginners to change them and make them on their own. However, it does not come without its short comings. I have made a logon that I use as a (template) for making all my screens which works very well for me. I exported it to a seperate folder and each time I customize it, I can go back to that folder, click on it and put it back into logon studio for the next theme change. Here's what I wish it would do; When you edit the theme ini. file on my (template) and make all the necessary changes, it keeps the same name (template) in logon studio until I export it to a different folder, rename it and click on it to get back into logon studio with the right name. The second issue I am hoping someone can help me out with. I don't use the top panel or the bottom panel because it squashes my picture. I've tried editing the top and bottom panels to match my picture and make my picture the size of the space that isn't used by the top and bottom panels. For instance, If I am making a logon screen with a bmp.picture 1024x768 and the top panel is 1024x80 and the bottom panel is 1024x100, should I reduce the bmp.picture to 1024x588 ? This seems very logical in theory, but in practice I have not been successful. The only reason I care about this one particular issue is so I can have a shutdown button that I don't have by not using a bottom panel, or is there a trick to that ? Any help would be appreciated
